‘THREE KOIS’

THREE KOIS is a defining work from Boglárka Nagy’s 2022 exhibition, Rising Sun, and her period of Eastern-inspired painting. In Eastern cultures, koi symbolize good fortune, abundance, success, and perseverance; a koi swimming against the current also embodies unwavering progress toward one’s goals and the overcoming of adversity.
